The Komamboga Entrepreneur Association (KEA) is a non-profit organization established by a group of passionate community leaders from the Kanyanya-Kawempe Division in Uganda. Officially registered with local authorities, KEA was founded to address the pressing challenges faced by the most vulnerable members of society. Its primary mission is to empower individuals particularly women, widows, and orphans by providing them with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to build sustainable and resilient livelihoods.

KEA works to combat poverty, reduce illiteracy, and promote gender equality, particularly in communities affected by HIV/AIDS. The organization embraces a holistic approach to sustainability that integrates social empowerment, economic resilience, and environmental stewardship. Through vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, and community education, KEA supports the creation of small enterprises that generate stable incomes while promoting environmentally friendly practices such as waste management, urban agriculture, and responsible resource use.

By fostering inclusion, innovation, and collaboration, KEA helps its members become self-reliant while contributing to the long-term wellbeing of their communities. The organization also works to eliminate the marginalization and discrimination faced by vulnerable groups, promoting a culture of equity and shared responsibility. In recent years, KEA has made significant strides in improving the quality of life for its members, addressing poverty, unemployment, and the social impacts of HIV/AIDS through sustainable, community-driven development. However, continued progress depends on strengthening partnerships and mobilizing additional resources to expand its sustainability initiatives and achieve lasting impact.
